Another Day in the Karoo

Today we were going to climb another mountain, but we couldn't because some of the game manager brought in some hunters to shoot some invasive species such as the waterbuck and the impala. I think we will climb it tomorrow. Instead of climbing, we tracked Sabella down, and showed the new volunteers a good chunk of the property. There are 3 new British volunteers, and 2 new South African volunteers. It's funny to hear them talk about how strange my accent is, especially since I don't think I have an accent at all. After we watched Sabella for some time, we went and looked at a group of Vervet monkeys, and this little baby monkey was so interested in us. It followed us as we walked through the forest, and would make funny expressions when I'd make noises at it. We then walked from the main lodge to our living quarters, and saw a group of 4 rhinos, which is a bit nerve-racking when you're on foot. They didn't seem to even notice our presence, and went on their way. I just finished watching the Argentina versus Germany game... I can't believe Messi and Argentina couldn't even put in a goal. I bet Germany wins it all now...
